Ferry Carpool helps people find or offer private rides that connect with BC ferry sailings. The goal is simple: make it easier for neighbours, commuters, students, and visitors to coordinate a seat, a pickup point, and a fair contribution toward real trip costs.
This app was solely created by Mian Zhu, who often travels between Vancouver and Victoria and wanted a simple way for ferry travellers to share rides and split real trip costs.
Ferry Carpool is not a taxi company, ride-hailing service, charter operator, travel agency, ferry operator, or broker. Listings are posted by individual users. Drivers and passengers decide whether a trip is suitable, confirm the details directly, and remain responsible for their own conduct, safety, insurance, tickets, and legal compliance.
Local Focus
The platform focuses on common ferry-linked routes between Vancouver, Victoria, Nanaimo, the Sunshine Coast, Bowen Island, and the Southern Gulf Islands.
